During his sold out show at the Anthem in Washington, D.C. on Saturday (Nov. 16), the "Mr. Misunderstood" singer threw in a subtle jab to Brooks' win with a cover of Jennings' 1975 hit "Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way" that calls out the glamour and materialism of commercial country music, while honoring the legacy of Hank Williams Sr.
The legendary group of Randy Owen, Jeff Cook and Teddy Gentry moved the original show, which was scheduled for this month, to 2020, with an additional date added due to a high demand for tickets. The "Dixieland Delight" singers will take the stage at Bridgestone Arena on July 17 and 18, 2020, with Charlie Daniels still scheduled to join them for both shows.
