...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM AKST WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Snow expected. Wind gusts to 30 mph over highway summits north of Fairbanks will cause reduced visibility in blowing snow. Plan on difficult travel conditions. Storm total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are expected through Tuesday night, with the snow fall rate of several inches each day. The heaviest snow is expected north of Fairbanks.
* WHERE...All of the Middle Tanana Valley, with the blowing snow over highway summits.
* WHEN...Until 6 AM Wednesday. Snow will taper off this morning, then resume again this evening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting as high as 30 mph over highway summits will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.
